Data Analyst - forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Granite Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Birmingham. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in maintenance stores and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on rent assistance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
