Data Analyst - forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Meridian Legal Group is a Birmingham practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on intake forms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
