Data Analyst - forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Beacon Community Partners runs community programmes across Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on donor records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
