Data Analyst - forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

Rivermark Lantern Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Baltimore region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on temp assignments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
