Data Analyst - forecasting (Atlanta, GA)

Bluepeak Ridge Construction is a Atlanta contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on change orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
