Data Analyst - forecasting (Atlanta, GA)

Bluepeak Summit Insurance is an insurance company in Atlanta with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
