Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Loom Pharma Associates and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in release testing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory filings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
