Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Summit Facilities and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in safety inspections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on supply orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
