Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Stonegate Sable Markets is a Anchorage retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on store inventory. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
