Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Clear Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Anchorage, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
