Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Meridian Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Anchorage. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 87 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Investigate trends in referrals and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on electronic records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
