Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Bright Junction Housing Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
