Data Analyst - forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
