Data Analyst - forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Corner Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Albuquerque, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 868 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
