Data Analyst - dashboard development (Wichita, KS)

Summit Meridian Inspection Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on equipment calibration. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
