Data Analyst - dashboard development (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Bright Vista Manufacturing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on machine downtime. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
