Data Analyst - dashboard development (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Ivory Health Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Investigate trends in electronic records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on insurance authorisations. • Python or R for analysis.
