Data Analyst - dashboard development (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Meridian Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in fraud alerts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
