Data Analyst - dashboard development (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Sable Staffing Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on timekeeping. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
