Data Analyst - dashboard development (Toledo, OH)

Rivermark Maple Financial is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
