Data Analyst - dashboard development (Tampa, FL)

Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Tampa design routes and schedules, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on route schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
