Data Analyst - dashboard development (St. Louis, MO)

Harborlight Granite Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
