Data Analyst - dashboard development (Spokane, WA)

Northwind Keystone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Spokane, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
