Data Analyst - dashboard development (Spokane, WA)

Silverline Amber Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on underwriting files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
