Data Analyst - dashboard development (Spokane, WA)

Summit Mill Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in service alerts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
