Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Jose, CA)

Northwind Birch Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around San Jose. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on caregiver training. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
