Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Fox Staffing places workers with employers around San Jose. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
