Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Jose, CA)

Stonegate Sable Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around San Jose, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
