Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Quill Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around San Diego, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
