Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

Bright Linden Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
