Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

Cedar Oak Banking Services is a regional lender in San Diego with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
