Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Cross Civic Services Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
