Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Lakeside Energy and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 979 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
