Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Ivory Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on ridership counts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
