Data Analyst - dashboard development (Salt Lake City, UT)

Cedar Lantern Property Management is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in unit turnovers and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
