Data Analyst - dashboard development (Salt Lake City, UT)

Rivermark Oak Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
