Data Analyst - dashboard development (Sacramento, CA)

Redstone Lakeside Freight Associates is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer tracking and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
