Data Analyst - dashboard development (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Nest Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Sacramento region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
