Data Analyst - dashboard development (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Loom Construction Group is a Sacramento contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in safety records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
