Data Analyst - dashboard development (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 336 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
