Data Analyst - dashboard development (Rochester, NY)

Nova Drift Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Rochester, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on branch operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
