Data Analyst - dashboard development (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Timber Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Richmond. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
