Data Analyst - dashboard development (Reno, NV)

Bright Meadow Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on water quality. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
