Data Analyst - dashboard development (Reno, NV)

Cedar Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Reno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on collection routes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
