Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Redstone Lantern Insurance is an insurance company in Miami with claims and service teams, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
