Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Summit Corner Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Honolulu. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
