Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Harborlight Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Madison and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
