Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Financial is a financial-services company in Richmond. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
