Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Silverline Bright Community Partners is a nonprofit in Austin supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 785 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
