Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Summit Juniper Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Houston design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
